As part of the glamorous evening Philippe Paparella-Paris, a senior Symrise perfumer from Dubai, treated guests to an interactive presentation where taste and fragrance met. A fragrance pairing with a rose water drink and salty rose fragrance as well as a delicious caramel fudge paired with a miel Iris fragrance entrance the guests.

Don’t tell anyone but I ate 2 pieces of fudge and kept on smelling the perfume card while eating!

End of the night

At the end of the night we also went home with a goodie bag containing a perfume from Symrise – which I’ve been wearing since – and a Kalahari Lifestyle mask to try out.

For me personally, this awards evening was a stand-out. Each winner earned their awards based on merit, not on who could afford the best PR or spend the most on marketing.

I am totally going to interview all the winner and Symrise because the presentation from Philippe Paparella-Paris was just enough to spark my curiosity.
