I love my new GHD Wonderland!

What makes the GHD Wonderland special? It is not just another GHD – it changes colour when it is hot. It is a mid-size GHD and comes with 2 clips and a bag that turns into a heat mat.

How to make beautiful curls with a GHD

  1. Roll a strand of hair around 2 of your fingers.
  2. Then pull it off with your other hand and hold between thumb and index fingers.
  3. You will now hold a flat ring of hair that you will clamp with your GHD for a few seconds.
  4. Move the GHD to get the whole hair ring and …voila!
  5. You now have perfect GHD curls.

If you tell me that these curls aren’t just perfect – you are absolutely bonkers!

Why I love this GHD curl technique – none of the curls are even, giving it a more natural look.

What can be better than a Friday with one of my best friends at GHD with a GHD stylist and make-up artist with magical MAC products? I can’t think of anything better!

We arrived at GHD for a little 1.5 hour spoil and met Andrew, a wizard with hair and a GHD, as well as Kirti Singh ,professional make-up artist and image consultant. I chose to have my make-up done first and not only did she give me the most amazing eyebrows (because I literally just have little licks), but she made my cheekbones look like they are worth a million bucks. Then my hair was done by Andrew from GHD, the most fabulous stylist ever. He styled my hair into an elegant side up-do that was informal. (I will be attempting this at home!)

Since I could invite someone along, I could not miss the opportunity to catch up with a friend I met at bootcamp almost 6 years ago. She is more of a natural beauty, that RARELY puts on make-up, so after her hair and make-up sessions I barely recognised her! I hope to see her wear a little more make-up from now on 🙂

To end the day I was spoilt even more with a brand new GHD WONDERLAND. I cannot say thank you enough to GHD for the wonderful time and GHD.

I also finally learnt how to make barrel curls with a GHD – thanks Andrew! I cannot wait to practice on my sister this weekend 🙂
