Next week is Spring and it feels like I’ve missed most of the year. I don’t remember seeing the the leaves turn in Autumn or frost on my car’s roof. I do however remember the fun road trips we’ve had the last couple of months.

Rietvlei Nature Reserve

Rietvlei was one of my favourite nature reserves discovered during lockdown level 3. It has an abundance of wildlife, lots of roads to drive and of course… very affordable.

Have you visited Graceland Eco Estate yet?

At Graceland Eco Retreat you will meet giraffes named Elvis, Priscilla, Lisa Marie and their children born on the farm named, Tennessee, Nashville and Phoenix. There are also Kudu, Impala, Klipspringer, Mountain Reedbuck, Bushbuck and more that you may catch a glimpse of whilst hiking.

Rietfontein’s hike is about 2,2km with a moderate first 1km but then over some treacherous terrain up a koppie – and I had to carry the little one the last 1km up the koppie…

Johannesburg Perfume Sale September 2019 INFORMATION

I get inboxed so many times about it that I’ve decided to put out the information I have…

There will unfortunately not be a perfume sale this Easter in Marlboro.
The September/October sale will be happening – I just don’t have exact dates yet.

There is however some really good news…

African Sales Company (the people that bring us our favourite fragrance sale in Johannesburg) is opening a store in Woodmead. I am on top of getting any opening specials they may have… so keep reading my blog ok?

The (other) Johannesburg Perfume Sale – dates announced

Another Johannesburg perfume sale… just in time for Xmas presents! This is not the usual Johannesburg perfume sale that is held in Kramerville… This perfume sale is at the Edenvale Bowling Club and has different brands. Last time I bought a Lady Emblem perfume and Jimmy Choo… I think I may have too many perfumes!

This sale is not as big as the Kramerville perfume sale but worth the drive if you like these brands (that may be available at the sale):
