Play-Doh Creative Kiddos

Did you know that 16 September is World Plah-Doh Day?

I get a lot of press releases – and I rarely publish them… unless of course it is of interest. Since I have been playing with Lexa’s Play-Doh since it arrived, I’m totally into Play-Doh.

The gist of the press release is that you can create your Play-Doh creatures and play with them in a virtual Play-Doh world.

“Combining real world active play with digital play – Play-Doh Touch offers tools that allows kids to use their creativity to shape Play-Doh characters, scan them into the App and watch the characters come alive in a virtual Play-Doh world. When it’s time for the Play-Doh characters to go ‘back into the tub’ – save them on the App and bring them out to play (on your digital device) on another day. ”

You will be able to get the Play-Doh Touch Shape to Life Studio from Toys R Us, ToyZone, Toy Kingdom, Hamleys and online from  Takealot.com.

I love playing with new toys and cannot wait for Lexa to grow up so I can haul out the good stuff! So when the Play-Doh kitchen cake set arrived on my doorstep…I was in the kitchen playing.

The set contains a number of pieces that include a fork, knife, spatula and more. You also get clay!

The best part about the set, there are plenty of shapes to choose from the make…including a gingerbread man! The BBQ is actually also where your cake shape press is hidden.

They have a number of different sets available, including the spaghetti-making, pizza and hamburger set. Sooooooooo much fun!

PS. I am letting Lexa play with the Play-Doh… under supervision. She understands no, so when the clay moves towards her mouth – I just say no and she stops.
