Walking Dead is a show like no other Zombie series or movie and after watching every episode you kind of feel a connection with the characters.
The last season ended with a whisper of Darryl and Beth and romance, but then she gets abducted. In this season the whole (surviving) group finally regroups after Terminus and then they find out where Beth is.
Rick, Darryl and a bunch of the others attempts a rescue mission but just as they think they will walk out with Beth, she pulls scissors out and attempts to kill the main officer. Unfortunately the officer pulls a gun and kills Beth.
Darryl starts to cry and carries Beth in his arms to where we see Maggie and the realisation of loss. In my opinion, the saddest episode in the whole series. I really hoped Darryl and Beth would have a chance at love.
