At the recent Blogger Meetup in Johannesburg, Prima had a nice little surprise up their sleeves for us. Not only did they bring a number of toys to show us, they also revealed Prima Baby.

I was most excited about two products – the Cosatto car seat and 360 degree high chair. Hubby and I have been shopping around for these two items specifically and I can honestly say that I’ve been left quite “meh” until now.

Cosatto Car Seat, the flamingo chair

I almost strained my neck looking at the Cosatto car seat as 1) it is pretty and 2) it will last the monster until she weighs 36kg!

It has an anti-escape buckle for those little people always looking to escape. Plus it has a pillow seat piece that you can remove when she gets older.

The Cosatto High Chair

OMG – that was very nifty compared to what I’ve seen in shops. Our kid likes to see other humans and if she doesn’t, she cries.

This high chair not only allows you to turn the chair 360 degrees on what seemed like a very heavy base, but it also allows you to adjust the height!

To put the cherry on the top for this chair – you can wash everything! The tray can go in the dishwasher and the cover into the washing machine, no shrinking.

The other products that caught my eye

Another very nifty product that can fit in your handbag for the time you need to have baby strapped into a chair while eating – the Mini Monkey mini chair. It’s one of those products where you go, why didn’t I think of that…

…there was a blanket that had glow in the dark stars! All of asked if it came in adult sized blankets – and unfortunately you will have to squeeze under baby’s blanket.

Oh, and if you have 10 seconds, this clip on Instagram is of little monster wearing the Disney taggie we got. Yes, we wear it on our head – because you know, we can 🙂
